So this week when i was reading the bible, i would come across verse that would say things like, The Eternal Fire or Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth. Well, as i read these things i will tell you that the first thing that popped into my head was, “this is a description of hell from the Bible”. I mean when we all hear this, thats what we think about, right? As christians, we tend to not think about hell. We say to ourselves, oh i wonder what heavens going to be like, because we our so wrapped up in the reward that WE are getting. Im not saying that Heavens not going to be what we think its going to be like. Heaven is going to be so amazing and so exciting that we can’t even put a finger on it. I want to ask a question to all of you, what is hell like?
Lets start from the beginning of our lives. When we are born we are wrapped in a kind of blanket or maybe even dressed in white, heavenly white, clothes. Thats how it is for the first few years of our lives. we are born sinless and wear clean white clothes. Then, the sin starts as we grow older. For me i started struggling with lust even at the age of ten. The sin is like dirt that gets on our nice clothes. So, I picked up the dirt and started to rub it into my clothes and the white turned to white with brown. Then lust turns into watching pornography and the dirt just gets deeper into the clothes. Then some of go and date and fall in “love” with every guy that comes our way because with out them we don’t feel pretty enough. Then we have sex for the first time outside of marriage and the mud just gets caked on our shirt. Finally a guy of girl that we actually felt something, they break up with you for somebody else. So you don’t feel good enough, so you make yourself throw up and that gets all over your now darkened shirt. So then you turn to beer, drugs and smoking because the only way that you will look “good”. The beer stains your shirt, the drugs their powder stays on the shirt, and ash falls on top. You get so wasted one night a guy takes advantage of you, you don’t even know his name. You feel ugly, so you cute yourself to take the pain away. The blood plasters the shirt and you think nothing can get this out. This continues for Months maybe even Years. Then some people find Jesus and actually follow him. And still some will find Him but they won’t believe. And others just won’t even try. Now, i tell you the truth Jesus is the ONLY ONE that can wash your clothes clean of all the dirt and blood and vomit and drugs.
Then your life on Earth ends. For those people who found Jesus and followed him and saw that He is the One to wash away their sins they sit in front of the Lamb that poured his life away for us and clothes get washed in the Blood of Jesus. Their clothes that haven’t seen the light of day for years are now a white as the newly fallen snow. They can enter the kingdom of God and sit at his feet day and night 24/7 and worship him to the fullest. The sight that they will see in Heaven is impossible to really try to get the edge of it. Gods glory and His power just overtake anything that we see on earth. There is no pain in the Kingdom Of God, only love.
But for you, You didn’t give God your all. In hell you with experience every sin that you have ever done only 100 times worse. Each day the devil will show you the sin of the day. Maybe he will show you the time when you made yourself throw up. And instead of throwing up just whats in your stomach. You will throw up your stomach and ur lungs then your bones. But thats just day one. The next day you wake up and everything is fine with your body but the devil isn’t that far away. He shows you the pain you caused a girl because you were stupid enough to get her pregnant and i mean the physical pain and the emotional. Then he will show you the time that you cut yourself and he will force you to count how many times the blade went across your wrist. The number you get is the number of days that you cut yourself all your body.
But your begging for mercy after the first day.
Your saying “God please have mercy, Please Lord save me!”
God just looks at you and shakes His head. “Where were you when I asked you to cry to me on Earth? Where were you when all I asked of you was to believe and follow me and my son?”
All you can do is keep silent.
God turns and says “All I did was show you love! you turned your back and spat in my face! I warned you about hell, you just didn’t listen!”
About a year ago, I saw a sign that said “Where Will You Spend Eternity.” At the time i wasn’t a christian so i kinda blow it off. But today I’m asking you Where do you want to go Heaven or Hell? Jesus died for your sins and now you can live in the Kingdom of God with Him. All you have to do is believe.
